About Teknik Tools

Teknik was founded in 2001. We started out as a one man suspension tuner like many of our customers now. We really struggled to buy fork & shock springs and many other components as we were too close to the Race Tech distributor so we were not allowed to buy, it almost stopped our business before it began. We contacted a spring manufacturer & they agreed to sell us their products. Other tuning workshops heard we had our own springs & we started selling to other tuners in 2002. Since then we've designed, engineered, tested & sold many products - there are now 3500 parts in our range that are designed in house & distributed from our warehouse in Penrith, a suburb of western Sydney, Australia.

Teknik specialize in motorcycle suspension only, so if a unique tool makes things easier & saves time, that's a saving that multiplies all day every day for us. It's a big deal, so we're always on the lookout for tough, sensibly priced, user-friendly solutions for specialist work - and we have cabinets chock full of examples from all over the place. Not the ordinary nuts & bolts, socket wrenches, hammers... they're easy to find, but your local hardware store doesn't have a complete set of fork seal drivers, does it? Occasionally there isn't an existing solution, and we try to develop one ourselves, but mostly we find someone else's tools aren't quite right and could use some changes. Whenever we design & test one of these special fork tools or matching shock tools for our own busy workshop use, we imagine it could make someone else's life easier too. So here they are.
